International IDEA’s 2025 EU-funded contract list records a subgrant to CHRDI for this work under the Sierra Leone Democracy Strengthening Programme. This is a documented project record; continued funding or a new phase is not assumed.

Human rights training

Awoko reported in September 2026 that CHRDI trained 128 Sierra Leone military personnel preparing for UN peacekeeping duties. Topics included humanitarian law and preventing gender-based violence and sexual exploitation and abuse.
